Job Description:

UCC Agenda Maintenance and Interaction
•           Assists APS 3 with developing documents and agendas for UCC.
•           Co-Supervises student assistant along with APS 3 to maintain UCC documentation.
•           Reviews curriculum requests with office staff in preparation for monthly committee meetings
•           Provides technical AV assistance for monthly committee meetings.
•           Takes minutes at curriculum and assessment committee meetings upon request.
Area Website Maintenance
•           Works with office staff to maintain area websites for curriculum committees, assessment and accreditation functions, and Fora websites for publishing monthly agendas and minutes.
Customer Service
•           Answers questions from faculty, administrators, staff, and students in person and over telephone
•           Coordinates office activities in salesforce ticketing systems and via email to ensure timely interactions with office customers.

Other duties as deemed appropriate or needed
•           Occasional maintenance of web sites related to the office
•           Managing email “listservs”
•           Interfacing with student advisory boards and representatives on various committees administered by the office.
•           Assist with preparation of monthly staff meetings


Expected Salary:

$19-$21/hour, commensurate with education and experience. 

Minimum Requirements:

High School diploma and two years of relevant experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

Comfortable creating and editing web sites
Background with student records or curriculum
Ability and desire to learn new software tools for curriculum development
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Proficient in Microsoft Office tools
Understanding of student-related data
Strong desire to grow professionally and to foster a collegial work environment
Professionalism when interacting with individuals at all levels
Excellent interpersonal skills
Attention to detail, strong editing skills
Pro-active with deadlines
Excellent attendance
Ability to work independently and use good judgment
Ability to handle sensitive records with discretion in full compliance with FERPA regulations
