This role will be responsible for establishing campus-wide trainings for EAB Navigate U and for coordinating and implementing training programs for academic advisors across the University of Utah. We are looking for someone that can excite campus around best practices for integrating technology into academic advising. EAB Navigate U is a comprehensive student success management system at the University of Utah. It’s designed to support students throughout their academic journey by providing tools for academic advising, student data, scheduling, and communication with staff and faculty. The platform utilizes data analytics to identify students who may be at risk, allowing institutions to intervene and provide targeted support. This individual will serve as the point-of-contact for student-facing questions about EAB and will serve as an advising representative for the integration of EAB Navigate U into academic advising at the university. Additionally, they will support the coordination and delivery of synchronous and asynchronous trainings for all advisors across campus. These trainings will provide the foundation of a new required onboarding for all academic advisors. As such, this position requires collaboration with staff in the colleges, departments, and campuswide partners, especially those working with student systems and technology. In addition to programming and coordination, this individual will advise students from diverse backgrounds in areas such as academic standards, major exploration, degree completion, new student orientation advising, policies and procedures, General Education, and Baccalaureate Degree requirements.
