Job Description: |
Responsible for of the laboratory work including administrative and technical oversight of the day-to-day operations. This includes, but is not limited to: Performing experiments related to grants and future research projects. Organize, analyze, summarize and present data for review by the Supervisor/Director. General lab maintenance, including ordering lab supplies and maintaining equipment and records. Supervising any student workers with animal experiments. Other duties as assigned.

Expected Salary: |
Starting salary is between$20.00 - $25.00 per hour |
Minimum Requirements: |
Associate's degree in an appropriate area and four years of related experience; or a high school diploma or equivalent and six years of related experience. Appropriate college course work or vocational/technical training may substitute at an equivalent rate for the required experience. |
Preferred Qualifications: | Applicants with expertise in histology or microscopy is preferred. Must be willing to work with tissues from HIV infected animals |
