Student Assistant - Lab Assistant

The successful applicant will be trained by lab staff to perform the following research:

Lab organization/maintenance/cleanup.
Reparation of reagents.
Solutions and bacteriological media.
Dishwashing, and autoclaving.
Mouse Colony Research – Assist postdoctoral fellows with their projects.
RNA Research – Preparation of genomic DNA from eukaryotic cells, PCR amplification of DNA.
Other related duties as required or assigned.

$14.00 per hour

UF Student

Biochemistry and/or Microbiology lab coursework.
Availability over the summer is preferred.
