Student Assistant Event Photographer

Job Description:
  • Capture candid/posed photos and video clips of attendees during all portions of the event
  • Organize and deliver final photo and video files to IPPD within 3 days of the event
  • Photo editing or video post-production is not required
  • Applicants must provide their own professional-level equipment to meet the needs of the event
  • Due to the sensitive nature of our industry-sponsored projects the Photographer may not retain copies of the image or video files for any type of use, except for images explicitly approved by IPPD for the photographer’s portfolio use.
  • Event Location: Reitz Union  //  2nd Floor  //  Grand Ballroom, Auditorium, Gallery, and Meeting Rooms

    Date and Time: Tuesday, April 23rd, 2024  //  1:00pm – 6:00pm

Expected Salary:

$60 per hour ($300 flat fee for event)

Minimum Requirements:
  • Previous experience in a lead photographic role
  • Skilled with relevant photographic fundamentals – framing/composition, exposure, etc.
  • Comfortable with the fast-paced nature of event photography
  • Ability to respond quickly and effectively to changing circumstances
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Previous experience with exposition event photography
  • Professional or academic experience in photography
