About the role

In this role, you will partner with Colleges, Schools, and other Services across the UK to ensure that the University achieves its UK undergraduate and postgraduate recruitment targets. You will represent the University to prospective students and their influencers at a wide range of events throughout the UK, building successful relationships with teachers, parents, sector networks and partners. You will contribute to the development and delivery of a strategy and tactics that engage with prospective applicants, converting interest to registrations.

This post sits within our External Relations team. You will work closely with External Relations colleagues in the Events team to enhance the University’s events programme for prospective students and teachers, including campus visits, open days, and virtual events, as well as assisting with the management of recruitment and marketing fairs and events run by UCAS. You will also work with External Relations colleagues to support the management and development of the University’s Student Ambassador scheme.

About you

With relevant previous experience, ideally within a marketing and recruitment environment or within an educational setting, you will have the ability to project-manage and have evidence of large-scale event participation.

You will be familiar with all programmes/ degrees offered by the University of Glasgow and will have a thorough understanding of the UCAS cycle and applications process.

The successful candidate will have outstanding presentation and engagement skills, with the ability to communicate effectively, both in verbal and written format, to a variety of audiences.

Please note that travel within the UK is a feature of this role, and as such, a full, clean driving licence is required.

This post is full-time and open-ended. Relocation assistance will be provided where appropriate.
