An exciting new opportunity has arisen for a self-motivated Business Management graduate to work on an innovative project collaboration with a Burgess Hill based business, Consort Frozen Foods, and the University of Brighton. 

This 25-month fixed term contract position aims to integrate advanced management knowledge and cutting-edge tools, particularly in the realm of technology and AI, for a thorough analysis of business performance in a West Sussex-based SME. This role will require you to break new ground within the business, bringing about change whilst build and enhancing its existing culture of innovation.

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • A min 2:1 BSc in a Business Management related degree
  • Project management skills with the ability to work independently and to meet objectives and deadlines with an appropriate level of supervision.
  • Communication and inter-personal skills, with an ability to develop strong, effective relationships with colleagues.
  • Management skills, with the ability to deliver a large and technical project and engage and motivate others.
  • An understanding of, and/or experience with the seasonal changes impacting customers in the southeast region of the UK, particularly in the West and East Sussex area, and how to adapt and align strategies based on this.

Consorts' business model is purchasing from the product manufacturer and distributing to convenience stores and leisure/hospitality customers.
