The Operations and Information Management Department has three teaching groups: Business Analytics, Operations Management, and Global ICT/IS Management. In addition, we have four research centres: Advanced Services, Cybersecurity, Circular economy and Crisis Management. We are planning to launch another research centre in Business Analytics in the near future. 

There is a thriving teaching and learning, business engagement and research culture in the Department, which has a strong reputation for being rigorous, relevant and entrepreneurial. We support participation in international conferences, teaching innovations and supervision of PhD/DBAs, and actively support business engagement and corporate client opportunities.

As part of our growth strategy, we are seeking inspirational and highly motivated individuals to contribute to the development of the Department’s teaching and learning activities. We welcome discussions with prospective candidates who have interests in specified areas of business analytics (see further details). We are keen to discuss new ideas in order to strengthen our teaching profile and complement our research and business support provision. 

You will have a good quantitative first degree, or equivalent, as well as a higher degree in a relevant academic discipline. You must also be able to demonstrate an emerging pedagogical path of effective and innovative teaching and learning. We are especially looking for people with a ‘hands-on’ and ‘can-do’ attitude.

These posts are being offered as a Teaching Fellow/Senior Teaching Fellow in Data Analytics. You will be appointed at a Teaching Fellow or Senior Teaching Fellow level depending on your skills and experience.
