Student Recruitment Assistant

This is an exciting opportunity to support the work of the UK Student Recruitment team in delivering high quality information, advice and guidance to potential Bath applicants and to schools and colleges regionally and nationally.

For this role you will be:

  • able to engage effectively with young people (typically aged 15-17) in the UK schools system and will have a commitment to student recruitment and widening access to Bath
  • confident in the use of technology
  • flexible to work outside contracted working hours to attend wide range of in-school events, working evenings and weekends as required (time in-lieu will be given)

Duties will include:

  • travelling to schools and colleges across the UK and Ireland to talk to prospective students about what it is like to choose to study at Bath
  • attending in-school HE and Careers Fairs, large UCAS and other Higher Education Exhibitions
  • delivering a range of talks on applying to university and choosing to study at Bath. 

This role will involve frequent travel, including regular overnight stays during busier periods, and a full UK driving licence (or the ability to use public transport) is essential.

The successful candidate will be expected to complete a full, satisfactory DBS check.
