In addition, you are a teamplayer, your are eager to acquire new skills, and you want to participate actively in quantitative and qualitative research? We have just the challenge for you: We are looking for personalities who want to work with us on issues of medical law and medical ethics which concern our today and tomorrow.

Your personal sphere of influence:

As a student assistant, you will complement the research team at the research platform "Institute for Ethics and Law" and take over supportive tasks such as, e.g., processing and evaluating quantitative and qualitative data.

The focus of our research is currently placed on the issue of Assisted Suicide.

Our team consists of professors from a diverse range of scientific expertise, several (external) scientific associates,two prae docs, two student assistants and two administrative colleagues.

What is particularly important to us as a team is committed cooperation, enthusiasm for current research projects, and exchanging ideas over collective lunch breaks.

Your future tasks:

  • You will work on research projects and scientific studies, especially in the field of the issue of Assisted Suicide.
  • You will support the preparation of events (meetings, conferences, round tables, network meetings, etc.).
  • You will take on administrative tasks in research and teaching.

This is part of your personality:

  • Ongoing Bachelor-/Master-/Diploma studies in the field of Sociology, Social and Cultural Anthropology, Psychology, Nursing Science, Law, Political Science, or similar
  • IT user skills, e.g., Microsoft Office and internet skills.
  • The working language will be German; excellent procifiency (level C1) in both active and passive language skills is thus required.
  • First (practical) experience in quantitative as well as qualitative research and data processing would be desirable.
  • Basic experience in academic writing would be an asset.

Your salary as a student assistant will be max. EUR 1.190,10 for a weekly 20 hours working load.
