Casual/Variable Hours 

Applications are invited for the post of Statistics Tutor (Grade 6) in the Centre for the Development of Academic Skills (CeDAS), part of the Academic Services Directorate at Royal Holloway, University of London.

The successful candidate will deliver one-to-one statistics tutorials to undergraduate and postgraduate taught students at Royal Holloway as part of Royal Holloway’s academic skills provision. Additionally, the candidate may be required to deliver small group workshops, drop-ins, or other CeDAS activities as needed and as commensurate with the post grade.

Candidates should be proficient in the use of SPSS statistical software and should ideally have knowledge of other statistical software (e.g. R, Microsoft Excel, STATA, MATLAB). Experience in delivering high quality teaching of statistics and of carrying out quantitative research or statistical analysis are essential. Candidates should be able to communicate complex concepts and ideas in an understandable, empathetic and flexible way.
