Overview

About the Role

The main purpose of the role is to manage the administration of the SSC processes across all years of the Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) Programme delivered by the Institute of Health Education, within the Faculty of Medicine. You will be supporting the programme delivery, working in partnership with Programme Leads, with a focus on high quality communication and support for our learners. You will also manage the SSC team which consists of 2 Administrators. The post reports to the Placements Operations Manager.

About You

Previous experience in Higher Education will be essential, together with a proven record of working with colleagues at all levels, including senior staff and external contacts. The ideal candidate will have strong influential skills, be resourceful and be able to make decisions for the SSC Unit. Experience supervising staff or the ability to demonstrate an understanding of the skills required via attendance at prior training/workshops are also essential.  This role demands the holder to demonstrate a strong teamwork ethic.
