Sprint Coordinator (Agile Initiative)

Updated: about 8 hours ago
Location: Oxford, ENGLAND
Deadline: 07 May 2024

We are seeking to appoint a Sprint Coordinator to support the work of the Agile Initiative at the Oxford Martin School. Agile is developing an innovative way of delivering excellent, policy-relevant interdisciplinary research to improve the way environmental decisions are made. Fast-paced research ‘Sprints’, lasting around 12 months, mobilise the best interdisciplinary research teams from the University and beyond to deliver solutions-focused evidence.

This post offers a fantastic opportunity for a research project manager, with a keen interest in the Agile research themes, who is looking to develop and apply their organisational and liaison skills in a fast-paced and innovative interdisciplinary programme. You will be joining a dynamic team that is pushing the boundaries of traditional research at Oxford University. You will be proactive, adaptive and able to work both independently and as part of a team.

The Sprint Coordinator provides flexible administrative and operational support across the portfolio of Sprint projects, monitoring the impacts of Sprints that have finished, supporting Sprints that are ongoing, and helping to set up new ones.

The role is a full-time, fixed term until January 2027 (although 0.8 FTE minimum will be considered), and primarily office-based in Oxford.

The Oxford Martin School supports the University’s commitment in fostering an inclusive culture which promotes equality and values diversity. We are eager to receive applications from a diverse pool of candidates.

Applications for this vacancy are to be made online and you will be required to upload a CV and supporting statement as part of your application.

Only applications received before 12.00 noon (UK time) on Tuesday 7th May 2024 can be considered.
