SPORTS ASSISTANT

£19,841 per annum
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Sports Assistant to join one of the country’s leading sports complexes at the University of East Anglia.
The Sportspark are passionate about providing an inspiring facility for all members of the community and are looking for a Sports Assistant to undertake a variety of roles. Your main responsibility will be lifeguarding the Pool, with further duties including supervising and maintaining the indoor and outdoor Dry Side facilities of the complex, and ensuring a safe, quality environment for our customers at all times.
The successful candidate will enjoy working in a customer focussed environment and will have the RLSS National Pool Lifeguard Qualification (NPLQ) and First Aid at Work Certificate or will be able to achieve these within three months of appointment. Experience and knowledge of working within a Sports/Leisure environment would be advantageous.

Appointment will be subject to a criminal record check at Enhanced level from the Disclosure and Barring Service. The post is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974.
