Senior Student Administrator

The School of Economics is seeking to appoint a full-time Senior Student Administrator to work in a busy and friendly student administration team. This role plays a key role in supporting the administration and education processes of the taught programmes of the School, particularly around postgraduate.

Interviews are scheduled for Wednesday 27th of March 2024

The successful candidate should possess a high level of accuracy and attention to detail, as well as excellent organisational and communication skills as they will be dealing with a wide range of colleagues (Professional Services Staff, Academic Staff, Central Services), alongside the students themselves, on a daily basis. The post holder will also be expected to supervise the team's work and resolve issues. The successful candidate will lead on certain aspects of the education cycle, including the organisation of assessments, marks inputting and attendance monitoring. They will play a key role in supporting preparations for exam boards, as well as a variety of tasks relating to students taking a supplementary year.

We are looking for someone who is committed to the student experience with an ability to take initiative and be proactive and flexible in their approach to work. Ability to prioritise and manage multiple tasks to meet often-conflicting deadlines is a must. There is a regular need to think innovatively and develop new processes and provide valuable input into a changing environment. We are looking for someone who takes personal responsibility for their work, is highly motivated and resourceful and can use their initiative. You will have a good eye for detail and strive to deliver excellence in every aspect of your work.
