About the role
We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Senior Sports Turf Operative to join our Sports Turf Grounds team. Reporting directly to the Assistant Manager (Sports Grounds), the Senior Sports Turf Operative will play a crucial role in the maintenance of our sports turf facilities. This position offers an exciting opportunity for individuals with a passion for turf and a commitment to excellence in athletic field maintenance.
About you
You will have experience of leading and motivating a team to achieve a set of common goals and deliver a high standard of service. You will have good interpersonal skills and be able to communicate effectively with students, staff of all levels and visitors. 
 
You will be highly organised and have previous experience of planning resources to meet competing demands. You will have a good working knowledge of IT equipment including smartphones and tablets. You will also have a basic understanding of Microsoft Office products and be able to use a search engine to seek information from the internet. 
 
You should have an understanding of Health and Safety issues, including COSHH and Risk Assessments.
