The Senior Receptionist is part of the facilities team which manages the buildings and provides central services to Cambridge Judge Business School and the staff, students and guests. The role holder will provide a high-quality customer service as well as supporting the Facilities Services Manager with administrative duties. Putting the customer at the heart of service delivery and developing a customer service culture is key to role delivery. The Senior Receptionist will ensure that the reception areas are managed in a professional manner. This includes organising the team rota to ensure that the reception areas are staffed during the core business hours provide the best possible customer service. The role holder will be responsible for supervising, training and motivating staff and will be complete appraisals for staff at the required intervals.

You will be educated to A-Level standard or equivalent with GCSE level in Maths and English. You will have experience working in a customer-facing role, the ability to work independently and to be diplomatic and sensitive whilst maintaining an appropriate level of discretion. You will have excellent IT skills and an intuitive service ethos. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills and experience in supervising staff are essential for this role.

The post holder will be required to work set shift patterns and occasional Saturdays depending on the needs of the School.
