This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to work alongside staff and students to improve the student experience and support education administration.  The role is varied, providing administrative support for a range of education and student experience activities and processes related to the Business School MSc programmes. You will work alongside our Faculty Education and Student Experience Senior Administrators, academic staff, and in liaison with Professional Service departments. 

Your duties will include general administrative support for programme and student engagement processes including the monitoring and resolution of students’ engagement with their studies, maintaining key information for students e.g., Moodle sites and handbooks. You will also support local activities which focus on engaging with our students, building community and improving their experience, including assisting with the coordination and servicing of Staff Student Forums (student feedback groups), assisting with arrangements for student events such as welcome and induction, and local student communications. You will assist with projects supporting the education and student experience elements of the Faculty’s Strategic Plan. You will work closely with the wider Faculty Education and Student Experience team, as well as wider School administrative staff and academic colleagues.

You will need good interpersonal skills, work well in a team, be organised, flexible and able to thrive in a fast-paced and varied environment.  As someone who learns quickly, is proactive and self-motivated with excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills, you will help drive forward improvements and deliver excellent service.  In return we will support your development and put in place a personal training programme to help you progress in your career.

This is a fixed term, full time (36.25 hours per week) position available until 20/12/2024.
