Senior Lecturer in Social Work

This is an exciting opportunity to come and be part of our growth, development and contribute to the enhancement of our courses.    

You will be in particular have experience as a Social Worker working with Children and families or Adults services, as you will be expected to teach across our Social Work Programmes. You must be a qualified and registered social worker. You will be keen to impart your knowledge, love of excellence and inclusive practice to students. You will undertake the role of Senior Lecturer, which can include the role of Programme Lead. You will contribute to teaching about social work with vulnerable people, across our programmes. You will also contribute expertise across our range of courses in the School of Health and Society particularly but not exclusively. Recent relevant experience would be an advantage.  

This is an exciting time to join the School of Health and Society at the University of Wolverhampton and you will be part of a diverse and dynamic team. You will be keen to work closely with our external partner agencies and play a role in developing our provision.

We have a growing doctoral community with funded studentships so we very much welcome research active academics committed to doctoral supervision, contributing to research and ethics activity within the School and able and willing to seek research funding. We welcome applicants with a PhD or very close to completion.
