Are you an enthusiastic and experienced academic with a passion for developing the next generation of pharmacists and scientists working in clinical practice, industry and/or research? We are expanding our staffing base in growth areas and are looking for academic staff members to fill a selection of new and vacant positions to join our ambitious and friendly School of Pharmacy.

This post would suit an enthusiastic pharmacist wishing to develop experience in education and scholarship in a Higher Education Institution setting. The role involves support for the delivery of pharmacy education across the various professional programmes within the school, centring on the MPharm and Pharmacist Independent Prescribing courses. You will work flexibly across areas of expertise, supporting high quality teaching, learning and assessment to achieve excellent student outcomes. You will also be encouraged to participate in the development and delivery of innovative teaching and scholarship, or research, in pharmacy cognate disciplines.

Your skills and attributes for success:

  • GPhC registered pharmacist with practice experience. Ideally, possession, or is nearing completion, of a postgraduate diploma or above in clinical pharmacy or equivalent and/or a GPhC accredited independent prescribing qualification. Consideration will be given to candidates without formal postgraduate qualifications
