This full time post is available from June 1st in the Doctoral Clinical PGR Programmes Portfolio within the Department of Psychology and Faculty of Health and Life Sciences (HLS).

This post is available on a hybrid basis but the successful applicant will be expected to be on-campus at least 1 day/week to be available for leadership team meetings and meetings with trainees. 0.6FTE of the role will be as the Programme Director, and 0.4 as a Senior Lecturer / Associate Professor as appropriate, likely with significant responsibility for Selection, Research Supervision, and Support of International Trainees. Appointment will be to Senior Lecturer or Associate Professor depending on experience.

The role

The Director will lead the DClinPsy program. The Director will be responsible for delivering and leading on a programme of specialist clinical professional educational, including working to PSRB governance standards and requirements ensuring practice within the Programme is grounded in evidence based theoretical and practical knowledge. The Director is expected to build and maintain positive and effective relationships and partnerships both internally within the Psychology Department and externally with relevant stakeholders, commissioners, PSRBs, and local service partners.

The post is available at Senior Lectuerer (Grade G) or Associate Professor (Grade H) and will attract a Personal Value Supplement equivalent to 8c on the NHS Agenda for Change scale during the tenure of the appointment.
