Senior International Marketing Officer

This is an exciting opportunity to join the Central Marketing team at our world-leading University, supporting the delivery of our ambitious marketing strategy.

The Senior Marketing Officer (International) is an integral part of the International Marketing team. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in supporting the delivery of marketing campaigns and projects to increase brand awareness and generate high-quality leads from prospective international students.

This particular role focuses on the promotion of the University’s International Foundation Programme (IFP) to prospective students and their influencers, alongside general international marketing activity. The post holder will have a dotted line to the Centre for Academic Language and Development.

As part of a busy marketing team, you will:

  • Maintain and deliver annual marketing and communications plans for the IFP, regularly refining objectives, channels, audiences, messaging and content.
  • Liaise with partner organisations including the University’s Recruitment and Admissions Partner and the China Office to co-ordinate IFP marketing activity, ensuring brand consistency and a coherent user journey.
  • Plan, organise and execute marketing activity to enhance recruitment and reputation.
  • Ensure relevant central messages are tailored and communicated to new and current IFP students and those progressing to undergraduate study.

We're seeking an organised and conscientious individual with excellent communication skills and attention to detail. They will manage multiple priorities and engage with diverse internal and external stakeholders to meet shared objectives.

The successful candidate should have experience of delivering marketing projects – including digital marketing – as well as tailoring content to different audiences, managing brand and reputation, and evaluating marketing activity using data and market insight.

Experience in the education sector or international marketing would be desirable.
