About the Job

The Senior Finance Manager oversees the Financial Management team's operations, ensuring timely, accurate, and robust handling of monthly income, expenditure, budgets, and forecasts. They provide accurate advice, reports, and commentaries that offer clear insights into issues, risks, and necessary actions. Efficient utilisation of systems and processes is paramount, as is the effective deployment of staff resources. This includes collaborating with the Associate Director Financial Planning to set objectives and priorities, distributing workload among team members, and supporting their training and skill enhancement.

About You

The ideal candidate for this position will be CCAB accounting qualification or CIMA qualified, with experience of management accounting, business partnering and financial budgeting and forecasting. You will be adept in building and maintaining networks with department heads and directors outside of finance, with the ability to offer commercially sound advice on a strategic and practical level.
