Security – 0.5 FTE working nights shifts only (job share)
Rotating Shift Pattern
We are seeking motivated individuals to join our dynamic and enthusiastic security team here on our thriving and energetic campus. The postholder will be responsible for matters relating to the safety and welfare of students, staff and visitors; the security of university buildings and other property on and off campus; the protection of personal property of students, staff and visitors; the control of traffic and parking; control room and reception duties as required. Job Purpose
To deploy as a member of the university security function, your main duties will be to provide uniformed patrols on permanent night shifts, starting at 6 pm and ceasing at 6am.
Patrols will involve foot, cycle, and use of vehicles if you have a full driving licence, responding to incidents on university property, and will include responsibilities away from the University site either involving students or as part of other contracted security responsibilities.
This post may require some deployments into the control room.
Safety of the staff and students is our priority, in addition to ensuring the safety and welfare of all people connected with or visiting the University, the protection of university property and the regulation of vehicle movement on and around the University site.
