The Faculty Professional Services team provide an integrated and high-quality professional service to students and staff across the University. You will be based within the Faculty of Education, Health and Wellbeing on Walsall or City campus, although you may be expected to work from other sites depending on the needs of the business. The University also adopts a hybrid working policy which presents opportunities for home working.  

We are seeking to recruit a School and Programme Administrator to provide a high level of administrative support for staff and students, service courses/programmes, committees, meetings and events, while providing and maintaining the University of Wolverhampton’s commitment to excellent customer service. 

You will be educated to A-level standard or equivalent and be required to demonstrate evidence of good office and administrative experience, with sound knowledge of Microsoft Office applications and high standards of literacy and numeracy.  Excellent communication skills and experience of communicating effectively with staff, students and external customers is essential. 

Knowledge of SITS and e:Vision or similar student records/management system is essential, as is dealing with confidential information with discretion and planning, organising and taking minutes of meetings. Experience of working in UK Higher Education is desirable. 

Personal attributes required include a proactive and professional approach, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, good organisational capabilities, ability to meet deadlines with a high degree of accuracy and the ability to work under pressure. We are seeking to recruit an enthusiastic individual with the ability to work independently and under their own initiative, with a commitment to working collaboratively within a diverse team. 

You will be required to be flexible in your working hours to meet the demands of the business.
