About the role

Are you detail-oriented, organized, and looking to play a key role in the backbone of our retail operations?
We are currently seeking a dedicated individual to join our team as a Retail Systems Assistant. 

This position is crucial for maintaining the accuracy and efficiency of our Epos database, contributing to the overall success of our retail operations. 

The role primarily involves database administration and data input tasks related to deliveries, supplier information, product, and supplier catalogue details either manually or via the systems import tool.

This is a part-time position working 25 hours a week across 5 days Monday to Friday. We are committed to support staff to achieve a healthy work-life balance, proposed working hours can be discussed at interview although mornings are preferred.

The ideal candidate will:

Have Strong Attention to Detail:Accuracy is paramount in this role, and the ideal candidate will have a meticulous eye for detail, ensuring precise data entry and maintenance of the Epos database.

Possess Organizational and Prioritization Skills:With a focus on database administration, the candidate should excel in organizing tasks, prioritizing workload, and understanding the impact of their contributions on overall retail systems

Bring Relevant Experience: Prior experience in database administration or similar roles is highly desirable. Familiarity with retail EPOS systems and operations will be an advantage

Collaborate Effectively: The ideal candidate will thrive in a collaborative team environment, working seamlessly with others to support the retail management team and ensure smooth operations.

Demonstrate Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite: Familiarity with software tools is essential for effective data entry and system maintenance.
