The successful candidate will be employed as a primarily field-based research technician within the Centre for Resilience in Environment, Water and Waste (CREWW).   The roles will be in support of a range of research projects that take place within CREWW, working with CREWW Director – Prof Richard Brazier, under the guidance of Technical Services Manager – Lucy McTaminey and a wide range of academic and research staff within the centre. The roles will involve fieldwork in challenging environments, setting up, maintaining and managing hydrological, meteorological, carbon-cycle and water quality equipment, with occasional laboratory work in support of colleagues. The posts will be based in the Centre for Resilience in Environment, Water and Waste (CREWW) at the University of Exeter Streatham campus, and all necessary training will be provided.

We are looking for an individual with exceptional communication and time management skills, who has experience in providing technical support in a research laboratory environment. You must be able to work independently, using your initiative to tackle any problems, whilst also working as part of the Centre for Resilience in Environment, Water and Waste.
