We are seeking to appoint two experienced, motivated, pro-active, and enthusiastic qualitative researchers to join the SALIENT consortium, a large multi-institution, multi-disciplinary team evaluating the impact of a range of food system interventions aiming to improve population diet in a way that is both healthy and environmentally sustainable. The available posts represent an opportunity to working in an internationally renowned centre for population health intervention research, together with an interdisciplinary team from seven universities. 

You will become part of the team based in the Population Health Innovation Lab at LSHTM the who are leading the implementation and process evaluation studies within SALIENT. The appointed postholders will be responsible for leading process evaluation studies within the delivered trials and evaluations. This will involve working with a range of academic institutions and public, community and commercial delivery partners.

The successful candidates will have a postgraduate degree in a relevant topic and advanced qualitative data collection and analysis skills, coupled with an understanding of process and implementation studies in the context of public health intervention research.

Supported by the Economic & Social Research Council (ESRC) both posts are full-time, available immediately and are initially funded until 31st March 2025.  The salary will be on the Academic scale, Grade 6 scale in the range £43,947 - £49,908 per annum pro rata (inclusive of London Weighting). The posts will be subject to the LSHTM terms and conditions of service.   Annual leave entitlement is 30 working days per year, pro rata for part time staff. In addition to this there are discretionary “Wellbeing Days”. Membership of the Pension Scheme is available. The post is based in London.
