We are looking for an enthusiastic and highly motivated research fellow to join the world-leading tuberculosis (TB) Modelling group (http://tbmodelling.lshtm.ac.uk ) at LSHTM.

The successful candidate will be supervised by Prof Rein Houben and Prof Richard White, and lead on components of a wider project on using mathematical models to identify the optimal combination of TB interventions across multiple countries. 

The successful applicant will have a post-graduate degree, ideally a doctoral degree, in a relevant topic. Experience with cost-effectiveness analyses in tuberculosis and effective working in a multi-disciplinary team are essential. Further particulars are included in the job description.

The post is part-time 10.5 hours per week, 0.3 FTE and fixed-term until 31 March 2025. The post is funded by the National Institutes of Health (USA) and is available from 01 April 2024.

The salary will be on the Academic Pathway salary scale Grade 6 in the range £43,947 - £49,908 per annum (inclusive of London Weighting). The post will be subject to the LSHTM terms and conditions of service.  Annual leave entitlement is 30 working days per year, pro rata for part-time staff. In addition to this there are discretionary “Wellbeing Days”. Membership of the Pension Scheme is available. The post is based in London at the London School of Hygiene & Tropical Medicine.
