Research fellow – food allergy prevention project

An exciting opportunity is available for a researcher to join the Behavioural Science Group in the Primary Care Research Centre to develop an intervention to support the early introduction of common food allergens to prevent food allergy.   

The successful candidate will join a large team and be responsible for developing a complex intervention following the Person-Based Approach, including conducting a rapid literature review, qualitative research, developing and optimising digital intervention content.

Applicants will have experience of qualitative research. You will also have an understanding of intervention development using the Person-Based Approach. Successful applicants will have demonstrated their ability to work independently and efficiently in a research context and will have excellent written English skills with meticulous attention to detail. 

Applications will be considered from candidates who are working towards or nearing completion of a relevant PhD qualification.  The title of Research Fellow will be applied upon completion of PhD.  Prior to the qualification being awarded the title of Senior Research Assistant will be given.

The post will be offered full-time or part-time as a job share from 2nd September 2024.
