  • Hybrid organic-inorganic halide perovskites synthesis
  • Conjugated polymers synthesis
  • Investigation into optical and electronic properties of perovskites as a function of crystal structures
  • Investigation into dimension- and chirality-dependent perovskite properties
  • Mentor PhD students
  • Draft grant proposals
  • Oversee lab safety

Job Requirements

  • PhD degree in chemistry, materials science and engineering, or chemical engineering. 
  • Ample research experience in synthesis of nanomaterials and nanocomposites
  • Solid background/experience in solar energy conversion and organic and inorganic semiconductors
  • Excellent communication and writing skills
  • Strong publication record
  • Prior undergraduate and master students mentoring experience
