Research Engineer (EV Battery Thermal management)

Job Description

  • Contribute to the design and development of efficient thermal management solutions for electric vehicle batteries
  • Assist in CFD simulations to optimize the fin structures to enhance the thermal performance of cold plates
  • Collaborate with the manufacturing team to establish micro-forming technologies for the complex features in cold plates
  • Assist in test-bedding of the proposed battery cooling solutions
  • Communicating with various stakeholders and liaising with other project teams

Qualifications

  • Bachelor or Master degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
  • Experience in experimental work about heat transfer and fluid flow will be an added advantage
  • Basic knowledge about CFD analysis, and experience of using commercial software such as ANSYS FLUENT is preferred
  • Good team player
  • Good communication skills in English
