Job Description
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Research Assistant to support Professor Sophie Moore and her group, in the Department of Women and Children’s Health at King’s College London. Our group has a number of ongoing projects focused on maternal and child nutrition in global health, and with a specific interest in intervention research. We seek an enthusiastic person to work across these studies, with a specific role in supporting ongoing projects in sub-Saharan Africa (The Gambia and Kenya). The postholder will be expected to spend time at the collaborative field sites, working with our broader collaborative partners.
Our research involves cohort studies and trials on maternal and child nutrition and childhood outcomes. This post presents an exciting opportunity to develop research skills within the fields of global health nutrition, child health, study and trial implementation and data collection, management and analysis.
The position is multifaceted, requiring a combination of skills, both academic and administrative, to support the group in all aspects of their research.
Relevant training needs will be supported both inhouse and external programmes.
This post will be offered on an a fixed-term contract until 31 August 2025.
This is a full-time time post - 100% full time equivalent.
