Join our dynamic team in a BBSRC-funded project “AMPQuest - Journeying to new horizons in treating drug-resistant infections.” Collaborate with international teams from Canada and Germany, including a one-month knowledge exchange in these countries. This role provides opportunities for career development through leading publications and contributing to grant applications.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Data analysis of screening processes
  • Optimization of AI tools for antimicrobial peptide prediction
  • Contribution to grant and manuscript submissions
  • Opportunity to mentor students

Person Specification:

  • Postgraduate degree in Bioinformatics, Computer Science, or related field
  • Experience in machine learning models development
  • Skills in AI tool optimization
  • Proactive, flexible, and effective team collaboration
  • Willingness to travel internationally
