This post is an opportunity for an enthusiastic and motivated individual at an early stage of their research career to develop their knowledge of evidence synthesis methods and build skills in public and population health research methods.
We are looking for a Research Assistant to work under the supervision of Lisa Jones (Reader in Public Health) and others across the Faculty of Health on funded research grants and/or projects on a variety of public and population health related topics.
We are looking for candidates with experience of using evidence synthesis methods, understanding of applied public health research methods and who are highly motivated to work on population health topics. The successful candidate will principally support evidence synthesis projects involving scoping reviews and/or systematic reviews. The role will also provide administrative support and contribute to grant development and the preparation of reports and other publications for internal and external audiences.
The post is funded for 6 months in the first instance.
