About the role
This is an opportunity to become a member of the maintenance team at the University of Leicester. You will be working in a great team of people providing support to the wider university. You will manage contractors to carry out building fabric and hardscape repairs.
Annual leave is more generous in Higher Education than in other sectors. The University has a generous holiday entitlement for full time staff of 41 days, made up of 27 days of annual leave plus 6 university closure days and 8 bank holidays. This is on a pro rata basis for part-time members of staff. Plus, generous employer pension contributions.
The salary for this role would be comparable to an hourly rate between £16.10 and £18.47, dependant on previous skills and experience. This is paid as an annual salary based on 37.5 hours per week.

Are you a skilled tradesperson looking for a rewarding and challenging career? We are looking for someone to join our dynamic maintenance team. You will have a relevant trade qualification in a building specialism. We will provide a supportive environment for you to train and develop your skills.
