We are looking for a motivated, organised and creative project officer to ensure the operational delivery of the Greater Manchester MS Information Network (GMMSIN).  This part-time two-year post will support an exciting new regional research project sharing information and education between MS clinicians and Patients Living with MS via social media.

As project officer you will work with the research team and project stakeholders, leading and project managing the daily operational activities.

You will be team player with an excellent understanding and experience of digital technologies to ensure successful and timely delivery of the project.

Key responsibilities

  • To lead and project manage daily operational activity of the GMMSIN project.
  • To work with research team to manage records, processes and communications to ensure the effective operations of the project.
  • To oversee and manage a social media hub, ensuring that it is working effectively, and resources are curated and created by stakeholders.
  • To contribute to training provision on social media to moderators and patients.
  • To support dissemination of project materials, including digitising resources and curated content to make them accessible.
