Project Coordinator

Do you thrive in a dynamic environment where your expertise drives impactful change? The Project Coordinator is key in supporting the delivery of projects we deliver across the whole estate. The role offers a varied workload.

You’ll be the first point of contact responsible for providing an effective and efficient support service to surveyors, engineers, and managers across the service area. You’ll use your judgement and initiative to deal with daily unforeseen problem and circumstances.

The role will develop and manage relationships with stakeholders to ensure successful delivery of projects, proactively maintaining links with these key stakeholders.

Working closely with colleagues across campus, you will collaborate and communicate essential messages to ensure stakeholders remain informed of progress in the delivery of various projects.

There will be a strong focus on data collection, improving systems and processes to ensure we provide the right information, in the right format, which provides assurance to the wider business.

Conduct rigorous quality checks, identify areas for improvement, and drive continuous enhancement. Your attention to detail will elevate our standards. Advise on, propose and implement changes in project procedures, plans, priorities and office systems to improve operational efficiency and quality of service in projects.

Analyse data/statistics, such as monthly programmes of work, staff allocation across projects, data collection progress summaries, or project survey results, and make first line assessment of issues to make recommendations to the project manager.

Research, collate, organise and edit material for inclusion in reports, promotional materials, websites and other communications. Prepare documents and correspondence and manage the storage, archive and retrieval of key documentation.

You’ll be organised, a self-starter, and willing to go the extra mile. Proven office and administrative experience, including demonstrable strong planning and organisational skills.

Customer focused, paying great attention to the needs and opinions of customers, and dedicated to enhancing customer satisfaction and building strong customer relationships.

You should have strong interpersonal and communication skills, and be able to work collaboratively with a diverse range of stakeholders.

Have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
