As the University continues to innovate in pursuit of excellence, we are now seeking an exceptional Pro-Vice-Chancellor to lead our Faculty of Social Sciences and deliver on the University’s ambitions for social sciences over the coming years. Reporting to the Vice-Chancellor, and a member of the University’s Executive Team, the PVC will encourage creativity and fruitful innovation in teaching and research, promote outstanding student experience and outcomes across the Faculty and play an important role in the leadership of the University.

The Faculty of Social Sciences is a vibrant and stimulating environment with around 5700 students and 320 staff across seven Schools: Economics; Education and Lifelong Learning; Global Development; UEA Law School; Norwich Business School; Social Work and Sociology; Psychology. The Faculty puts enterprise and engagement, locally and globally, at the heart of its mission. The Faculty provides a vibrant and stimulating environment and has cutting-edge facilities utilised by researchers and students at all levels for social sciences research.
