Working as part of a small friendly team to assist the Site Manager in the development and maintenance of high quality customer orientated soft facilities support services. Ensuring compliance with all aspects of health and safety and that appropriate records are maintained so that the campus and buildings are safe and secure at all times. To assist the Cleaning Supervisors to meet agreed cleaning standards, helping all team members to utilise their skills and experience to complete all tasks correctly in a timely manner.

To succeed in this position you will need:

  • A health and safety qualification, IOSH for example with a good understanding of safe working practices.
  • A team leading qualification, NVQ level 2/3 or be able to evidence an equivalent level of experience
  • Good communication skills, proficient in IT skills
  • Able to work efficiently and effectively under a minimum level of supervision 
  • Previous experience working in an environment high standards of customer service were required.

In return the university offers a generous annual leave package, including time off over Christmas, and an attractive pension scheme. You will be required to wear PPE in line with relevant policies.

The position is full time - 37 hours per week predominately Monday to Friday from 08:00 but, with some flexibility to meet operational requirements. This job is suitable for job sharing.
