Postdoctoral Research Associate in Solid-State Batteries

We are looking for researchers with extensive experience in solid state batteries, proven by a strong publication record, with expertise in one or preferably more of the following areas:

  • Solid state electrochemistry
  • Solid state chemistry
  • Characterisation of air and beam sensitive materials and interfaces in solid-state batteries

With a background in the field of solid-state batteries,  you will be a well organised and self-motivated scientist, with the ability to manage the day-to-day running of a research project.

You will have (or be close to completion of) a relevant PhD and appropriate specialist knowledge in the discipline, as well as excellent communications and writing skills.

Working in collaboration with Nissan Motor Company and as part of a team of 10 in Oxford we are working on development of Solid-State batteries.
