Postdoctoral Research Associate Grade 7 (Ship Aerodynamics and Modelling Simulation)

We are seeking a researcher to join the Flight Science and Technology research group to support and lead activities in the computational aerodynamic analysis of a modern warship design. This will include a combination of advanced unsteady computational fluid dynamics (CFD) and also the assessment of the design via real-time piloted simulations. The post is full time and is fixed term until 31 December 2024. 

Any applicants who are still awaiting their PhD to be awarded should be aware that if successful, they will be appointed at grade 6, spine point 30.  Upon written confirmation that they have been successful in being awarded their PhD, they will be moved onto grade 7, spine point 31 from the date of their award.
