Are you a Post-Doctoral Research Associate (PDRA) with a strong background in the real-time motion control of ground vehicles?

We are looking for a PDRA to join our project on the development of an all-electric self-propelled agricultural sprayer platform, with focus on the advanced control of its motor drive system for optimal performance and energy-efficiency. The project will also investigate AI techniques for efficient and sustainable crop-spraying.

This is an exciting new opportunity funded by Innovate UK and DEFRA, working with the School of Engineering, the Lincoln Institute of Agri-food Technology, plus industry partners. You will join the School of Engineering team at the University's Brayford Campus, although field-testing will take place at different locations in Lincolnshire, including at our Riseholme Campus.

You should have a PhD in Engineering or a closely related discipline. If you are close to completing your PhD research, you are also warmly encouraged to apply.
