We have an exciting opportunity to join our Postgraduate Programmes team, which runs our expanding suite of Master's-level programmes designed to build the capacity of professionals to bring about positive change for sustainability within their organisations.

This new and exciting role will work closely with Portfolio Director, taking responsibility for ensuring that the portfolio's resourcing, policies and processes support delivery in line with CISLs strategy and our quality standards. You will work closely and sensitively with the Portfolio Director, and central teams to understand the big picture and strategic aims, and ensure we have the right team in place to deliver against this.

Key skills and experience:

  • Degree/Level 6 vocational qualifications or equivalent level of practical experience
  • Significant experience in project management, including managing project teams, financial planning, data analysis and delivering work to a high quality within project budgets and tight timeframes
  • Experience of utilising and establishing consistent and effective project management systems across a team or organisation
  • Experience of business and resource planning across multi million pound portfolios
  • Experience of managing staff
  • Excellent knowledge of IT systems that enable effective operational management (including financial management, communications, knowledge sharing) and very confident in working with CRM-based databases
  • Ability to train colleagues in key systems and processes, and translate complex tasks and expectations into clear and practical clear, practical implementation approaches
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to demonstrate accuracy and fluency in spoken and written communications, which ensure the delivery of results, build trust and confidence
