Working in our Professional Placements Team, this role will  contribute to our strategic aim to be a career-led University, ensuring we develop our learners for careers of the future. Through sourcing a range of placement and work-based learning collaborative projects with industry these roles will enable our students to develop the skills to promote themselves in a changing world. With every undergraduate degree programme including a compulsory placement and work-based learning opportunities throughout, this unique feature provides an exciting opportunity to join the team as we grow and enhance our current provision, through building a range of exciting industry opportunities.

You will work with a number of new and existing organisations to develop exclusive opportunities for our students, raising the profile of the university and proactively networking across the region.

To ensure student success, you will be involved in the design and delivery of a range of employability interventions to inform, motivate and inspire students to successfully apply for opportunities and negotiate projects. You will support students throughout the entire placement life cycle including ensuring that each placement meets appropriate due diligence and health and safety standards prior to approval and developing appropriate documentation.

You will deliver lectures, interactive workshops and one to one appointments to students and will work closely with academic colleagues involved in the delivery of our Placement and Professional Learning through Work Modules.

With experience of building relationships, supporting students, and excellent organisational skills  you will have a passion for student success and an ability to work collaboratively with a range of stakeholders and networks.
