Applications are invited for a Medical Statistician to join our growing Trial Statistics team in the Primary Care Clinical Trials Unit.

The successful applicant will be expected to work closely and collaboratively with a multidisciplinary project team, and to contribute to the design and conduct of clinical trials.

You will hold a Postgraduate degree in statistics supported by a publication record and be fluent with study design, analysis and presentation of statistical trial data. The post will also have the opportunity to work on methodology projects.

You will be based in the Gibson Building, Nuffield Department of Primary Care Health Sciences, Radcliffe Primary Care Building, Woodstock Road, Oxford, OX2 6GG as your normal place of work but there may be the opportunity for occasional remote working.  You will be able to discuss remote working with your line manager.

The position is offered full-time and fixed-term for two years in the first instance. Two posts are available, both are available for either two years, or until 30 September 2026 for one post, and 31 January 2027 for the other, whichever is earlier, depending on when the successful candidate is able to start.
