The Fellows of the College invite applications from outstanding candidates to succeed Professor Pippa Rogerson as Master from 1st October 2025. Candidates will possess distinguished records of leadership and achievement in academia or another professional field; they will relish the opportunity to lead a vibrant and diverse community of academics, students and staff.

First founded in 1348, Gonville & Caius College  is a diverse, self-governing community of scholars. With 120 Fellows covering the full breadth of academic disciplines, and nearly 1,000 students from around the world, the College is a stimulating academic environment, home to world-leading education and research. Situated in magnificent ancient buildings in the centre of Cambridge, the academic tradition of the College extends from the physician William Harvey to the physicist and cosmologist Stephen Hawking and includes 15 Nobel Prize winners. The College has recently completed the purchase of significant property in the centre of Cambridge, adjoining existing buildings, which provides a rare opportunity to increase the College’s central footprint.
