The Oxford University Careers Service is looking for all rounded communications professional to join its Marketing team in the role of Marketing Assistant.

The Careers Service Marketing team provides reliable, usable, and accessible information to job seekers, employers, alumni/mentors, research staff, colleges, University, and other outside interested parties.

The successful candidate will have exceptional written communication skills, keen attention to detail, and the ability to tailor messages effectively for diverse audiences. They should demonstrate proficiency in managing and generating various types of content to bolster communication efforts, such as newsletters, websites, social media platforms, and printed materials.

The postholder will contribute to the implementation of the Careers Service's communications strategy, including planning and scheduling content distribution with the aim of improving student engagement with career activities.

This opportunity will suit a creative person who is seeking to utilise and enhance their marketing skills across exciting and diverse projects. This role will be based in the Careers Service building at 56 Banbury Road and have the option of hybrid working.

The post is a full-time, fixed term post to cover a period of secondment. Secondments considered. Only applications received before 12:00 noon (GMT/BST) on 17 May 2024 will be considered.  In-person interviews will be conducted in the week of 27 May 2024 at 56 Banbury Rd, Oxford OX2 6PA.
