Responsibilities

The post holder will contribute to City’s undergraduate student recruitment and conversion activities by promoting the University to prospective undergraduate students through a series of initiatives, including: schools liaison activities, UCAS events, Open Days, communication and marketing campaigns, publications, social media and website.

The post holder will be expected to contribute to the recruitment strategy using their expertise to provide insight into developments in the market place and to be part of an innovative, forward thinking team environment.


Person Specification

The successful candidate will be keen to further a career in marketing and recruitment, educated to degree level, with experience of working with prospective undergraduate students.

The candidate should also have a good understanding the UK education system, the UCAS application process and the student recruitment process; with experience of having delivered presentations and organising relevant events for students. 

It is expected that the candidate has a customer focused attitude and experience of working in a customer-facing environment. The post holder should also be confident to work independently, often participating in recruitment events throughout the UK, with evening and weekend work also occasionally required.
