Université Paris Dauphine – PSL is a prestigious French university, offering a wide-range of degrees and programmes in the sphere of the organizational and decision sciences (economics, management, social sciences, law, political sciences, mathematics, and computer science). EQUIS accredited since 2009, the University is a leading international higher education establishment and is highly placed in the international academic rankings. Université Paris-Dauphine is a founding member of PSL (Paris Sciences et Lettres Research University), which was 40th in the Shanghai ranking 2022, 21st in the CWUR ranking and 3rd in Times Higher Education best young universities. High-level research is undertaken with academics at PSL having been awarded 27 Nobel Prizes and 10 Fields Medals.   

The London campus of Université Paris Dauphine – PSL welcomes each year around 300 students for a variety of undergraduate, postgraduate, Summer Schools and executive education programmes. It has been registered with the UK Office for Students as an English Higher Education provider since 2022. Students of Université Paris Dauphine – PSL are now eligible for the UK high-potential individuals (HPI) visa for those educated at 37 of the world’s leading universities including PSL.   

We are seeking to recruit a highly organised, professional and motivated Marketing and Promotions Officer for our London campus. 

Key responsibilities:  

The role will positively contribute to the business’ visibility, recruitment targets and the improvement of content quality and reach. You will plan and implement the Dauphine London marketing and promotion strategy using various channels, including digital, print and events. You will work in close collaboration with both academic and administrative staff, to help promote our unique student experience and introduce new offerings. This post is offered on a full-time basis, though consideration would be given to part-time/flexible working. 

Marketing

  • Develop and implement strategies and plans to get the word out about Dauphine London and drive qualified traffic to our front door.
  • Deploy successful marketing campaigns and own their implementation from ideation to execution.
  • Build and maintain solid and positive relationships with schools in the UK and abroad.
  • Proactively seek opportunities for marketing initiatives in print, online, etc. as well as conferences and speaking opportunities.
  • Maintain and ensure the accuracy of key contact databases.
  • Suitably budget for all promotional events and marketing activities. 

Promotion

  • Produce clear, engaging and on-brand content for the website and ensure existing content is up-to-date.
  • Produce and schedule regular social media and email marketing content.
  • Manage the organisation and promotion of events, such as Open Days, University fairs, talks and conferences.
  • Oversee and design all print and online materials (brochures, posters, flyers, etc) for the promotion of events and programmes using InDesign and Canva Pro. 

Internal communications

  • Coordinate and work with the Paris-based communications team to ensure online activity is aligned and compliant with brand and image standards.
  • Work with students ambassadors on promotional activities including events and social media content.
  • Take photographs at internal events, such as conferences, welcome week and other on-campus activities, for social media purposes.
  • Be responsible for the management of a shared mailbox.
  • Send communications to new starters and updates to the current study body. 

Person specification :  

  • Relevant degree (or equivalent qualification) in Marketing, Digital Marketing, English, or a related field.
  • Proven track record of successfully driving marketing campaigns and business development initiatives.
  • Strong understanding of digital marketing channels, including SEO, PPC, email marketing, and social media.
  • Previous experience in copywriting, design and social media is essential.
  • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain good relationships with various stakeholders including industry partners.
  • Strong organisational skills, with the ability to multitask and deliver on time.
  • Excellent communicator with outstanding written and spoken English.
  • Work effectively and flexibly on a range of projects.
  • Have a creative flair and a good eye for detail.
  • Ability to work on your own initiative.

Salary: £32,000 – 38,000.
